Welcoming the Chinese Western Mining Delegation
This week the Western Mining Group from China is visiting Finland and meeting representatives from the major mining companies in the country. The company is principally engaged in mining, smelting and trading of metals such as zinc, lead, copper and aluminum.
In this context, Ilpo Auranen, Chairman IMA Engineering, gave a presentation on material characterization and ore sorting to improve mine productivity.
We want to thank the Chinese delegation for their visit and wish them a pleasant stay until the end of the week.
What is IMA Engineering?
IMA Engineering has used on-line sensors for analyzing ore and waste rock in mining for over 25 years. Today IMA on-line sensors are used in various stages of the mining process including on-line analysis of drill cores, drill chips, ore, and waste in loader buckets, ROM ore analysis on conveyor belts and in bulk ore sorting, as well as slurry analysis in concentrators.
