IMA Engineering – a successful example of the Finland Innovation Ecosystem
IMA Engineering will be present in “The Key to Success of the Finland Innovation Ecosystem” webinar cooperation with Chilean companies.
After Nicolaides, IMA’s partner in Chile, set up and run a successful IMA FCA pilot for the largest iron producer in the South American country, IMA also becomes a successful example for the Finnish innovation ecosystem.
The Association of Industrialists of Antofagasta and the the Ambassador of Finland in Chile, Ms. Eija Rotinen will open the online event, on the 24th of March, at 9.00 AM (Santiago time).
IMA will be represented by Jukka Raatikainen, general manager, and Nicolás Pérez Briones – the representative of Nicolaides, which offers our Fast Conveyor Analyzer units for rental and piloting in South America.
IMA solutions range from fast Drill Core and Drill Cuttings Analysis, to Bulk Ore Sorting and On-Stream Slurry Analysis. They will all be covered in IMA’s online presentation.
As an Outotec spin-off, IMA developed sensors for mineral analysis in real time. Thus, our solutions reduce the carbon emissions and improve mine efficiency. The first pilots in Chile and other Latin America countries proved the performance of our solutions and their power to change the mining industry in an economical, sustainable, and environmental way.
Any company interested in the IMA solutions for better, more efficient and more sustainable mining can register here.
The following video will help the industry better understand how IMA Smart Mining Solutions help mining companies reduce costs, while also improving productivity and sustainability.
What is IMA Engineering?
IMA Engineering has used on-line sensors for analyzing ore and waste rock in mining for more than 25 years. Today IMA on-line sensors are used in various stages of the mining process including on-line analysis of drill cores, drill chips, ore and waste in loader bucket, ROM ore analysis on belt conveyor belt and in bulk ore sorting and in slurry analysis in concentrators.
