IMA participates in the Nordic LIBS 2024
IMA Engineering’s representatives participate in the first Nordic Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS 2024) Symposium.
MA Engineering’s representatives participate in the first Nordic Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) Symposium, on the 5th and 6th of March. Ville Hakala, vice-president of the company, and Damith de Silva, project manager, will be present at the event organized by The Tampere University (Finland).
“As we want to stay up to date with all the new things in metal analysis, this is a big opportunity. So, we appreciate Tampere University’s initiative, and consider it useful for the industry,” Ville Hakala mentioned.
Experienced researchers from both academia and industry from 10 countries present their discoveries and visions regarding LIBS. From recent advances and reviews of breakthrough applications to the contributions for efficient and sustainable industrial production, and automated mineralogy, the event covers all.
“The latest developments and accomplishments using LIBS will help the industry get a better understanding of the process. Thus, they can contribute to improving the quality and value of the work,” Damith De Silva added.
IMA Engineering is a forerunner of new developments and applications in mining. So, we could not skip LIBS 2024.
