IMA Engineering attended the 6th illuMINEation consortium meeting

The IMA Engineering team attended the 6th illuMINEation consortium meeting, hosted by Boliden, in Sweden. For three days, companies involved in the project had the chance to discuss the project updates, and exchange ideas.

The meeting included a workshop on the first day and was followed by a visit to the sites of both Boliden and Epiroc.

At Boliden, participants had the chance to see the state-of-the-art mine operated by Boliden. Also, they saw the manufacturing factory of the Epiroc machines.

These were inspiring, so the involved specialists discussed how the IlluMINEation technologies could contribute to the support and advance of the projects.

“Each of these meetings means a step forward to sustainable mining while also considering the environmental challenges. We are glad and proud to be part of this project, which has the potential to make the transition to green technologies sustainable,” Jukka Raatikainen, CEO IMA Engineering mentioned.

The next, and final Consortium meeting, will happen in Poland, at the beginning of the next year.
