Users can choose a plan which includes the start and endpoint meters unless they can be read with a reading device. Scanning is User and application-specific and assays are automatically calculated for the scanning interval.

When the scanning of the drill core box starts, a high-resolution photo is taken. A second camera can provide microscopic accurate photos from individual drill cores at pre-defined moments. Photos are identified by Box and depth value, just the same as the assay data.
