Using digital tools for sales and remote support during Covid-19.

During the COVID19 crises traveling to mining sites is difficult. This might be a challenge for the foreseeable future. Even before the current crises, IMA embarked on a digital transformation journey to be able to support its customers remotely and to reduce its carbon footprint due to traveling related emissions.

We have now enhanced our services adding a remote commissioning service for our FCA sensors which enables our end users to install, calibrate and operate the IMA sensors and related IMA Bulk Ore Sorting System (IMA BOSS) without IMA’s personnel presence at their sites.

The remote support includes detailed product and operating documentation, videos and real-time remote connections to customer sites during commissioning and operation of the IMA equipment.

This service combined with short delivery times for IMA equipment will help IMA customers to overcome the negative effects of the production reductions and lower metal prices due to the current global situation.

In addition to our remote services, our local distributors can provide, where available and possible service to our end users.
