IMA Engineering’s solutions arouse interest at Zimec 2022
IMA Engineering presented its bulk ore sorting smart solution, at Zimec 2022, the longest-running mining and energy event in Zambia. The event in Kitwe is taking place between 1-3 November and brings together important mining players and technology providers.
Reducing carbon footprint in mining by bulk ore sorting
Sustainability and environmental consideration stand at the core of IMA’s philosophy. Everything we do is to help mines become more efficient and environmentally sustainable. In Bulk Ore Sorting the IMA BOSS is removing waste rock from mineral concentrator feed material and replacing it from ore recovered by sorting from waste rock.

Exponor Chile and the South American Road Show
The month that just ended has been eventful for IMA Engineering. We were proud to be part of the Mining Finland Road Show in South America, attending seminars in Lima and Santiago and announcing our new collaborations.
Mines and Technology Helsinki 2019
May was a power month for IMA Engineering. We participated in a South American Roadshow and at Mines and Technology in Helsinki. This year, we attended Mines and Technology event in Helsinki together with Mining Finland.

Sorting and sustainable mining
International Mining Magazine featured IMA technology in their May 2017 and May 2018 editions, which summarize and describe practical pre-concentration and sorting methods and their use in mining.
Sampling and ore and rock properties modification – in Kevitsa Mine
The 1st sample collection for ITERAMS WP1 and WP2 was done in July 2017. After first sample series were tested in Leoben and Oulu Universities, and first results were received during winter and spring 2017-2018, a new campaign was planned and decided.
Mines and Technology Helsinki 2018
We had a great time last month at Mines and Technology Helsinki. We participated together with Mining Finland. The keynotes and discussions were very interesting and rewarding. We are looking forward to next years’ show.
