IMA sensors collect real-time geo-metallurgical and ore grade data during production from drill cores, drill cuttings and ore on the conveyor belt or loader bucket, before the material enters the processing mill, concentrator or waste rock area. IMA Engineering On-Line Mine concept includes applications in exploration, in mine production, and in ore processing. IMA sensors provide data from all these stages, wirelessly into the mine planning computers, either in the Cloud, or into a central location where Geo-metallurgical data is combined. In many cases complex mineralogical ore types should be treated either separately or with desired mix. With IMA’s technology, consistent mining aims at reducing dilution and ore losses, and preventing harmful minerals or elements from entering the next processing stages.
