IMA Engineering will be present in “The Key to Success of the Finland Innovation Ecosystem” webinar cooperation with Chilean companies. After Nicolaides, IMA’s partner in Chile, set up and run a successful IMA FCA pilot for the largest iron producer in the South American country, IMA also becomes a successful example for the Finnish innovation ecosystem.
Pre-concentration by Bulk Ore Sorting (BOS) has gained interest in the mining industry over the past few years due to its environmental and economic benefits. The BOS method is utilizing reducing natural rock heterogeneity in separating the waste rock from the ore before it enters energy intensive grinding and mineral processing process.
Ore sorting is one of the focus areas mining companies are now looking at in improving mining proficiency and becoming ever more sustainable in mining. For almost a decade IMA Engineering has been developing sensor applications to better separate ore from the waste from early exploration to modern bulk ore sorting (or particle sorting).
The month that just ended has been eventful for IMA Engineering. We were proud to be part of the Mining Finland Road Show in South America, attending seminars in Lima and Santiago and announcing our new collaborations.
May was a power month for IMA Engineering. We participated in a South American Roadshow and at Mines and Technology in Helsinki. This year, we attended Mines and Technology event in Helsinki together with Mining Finland.
